Liability Release & Waiver

In consideration for being permitted to attend and/or participate in the Tournament, and by my attendance and/or participation in the Tournament, I acknowledge and agree as follows (“Tournament” shall include any and all activity related to the Hi-Dez Bocce Invitational, including but not limited to activity occurring on or around the property(ies) where the Tournament and Tournament play occur, the property(ies) where Tournament-related events (such as entertainment events or other Tournament-related gatherings) occur, and private Tournament organizer properties and residences; travel to, from, and between Tournament-related activities or locations; and any and all other activity incidental to or otherwise related to the Tournament.  Tournament organizers (including but not limited to Hi-Dez Bocce, LLC and its members) and staff/volunteers, Tournament property and premises owners, Tournament competitors, Tournament spectators and attendees (including minors accompanying parents or guardians), providers of goods and/or services to the Tournament and/or Tournament attendees, and all other Tournament affiliates shall be referred to collectively as “Tournament Participants”):

I understand and acknowledge that recreational sports activities, including those undertaken on desert lands and in desert climates, involve inherent and potential risks, both known and unknown, including but not limited to risks of serious and/or permanent bodily injury and loss of personal property.  I understand and acknowledge that my attendance and/or participation in the Tournament (including my agreement to these terms and conditions) is voluntary, that I will use utmost caution and care during the Tournament, and that I have no known conditions that could restrict my ability to safely participate in or attend the Tournament.  I understand and acknowledge that there are no medical professionals on site at the Tournament and that medical attention is my sole responsibility.

I agree to assume all liability, risks, expenses, and fees due to an injury, malady, or any other loss or damage that may occur as a result of my attendance at or participation in the Tournament, release all other Tournament Participants from any such liability, and agree not to sue any Tournament Participants and otherwise forever waive any and all claims or potential claims against Tournament Participants arising from or in connection with my attendance and/or participation at the Tournament.  I further agree to forever indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tournament Participants in the event of any injury, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with my attendance at, participation in, or actions during the Tournament, from whatever source or of whatever nature, including with respect to all litigation- or claim-related expenses and fees.

I understand and acknowledge that while attending the Tournament I am required to act civilly at all times and am subject to ejection for unruly or unreasonable behavior at the sole discretion of Tournament organizers and/or Tournament property and premises owners.

I understand and acknowledge that Tournament entry fees and any ancillary fees are final and are refundable in whole or in part only at the sole discretion of Tournament organizers.

I acknowledge and agree that my name, image, voice, and likeness may be recorded in various media during the Tournament and used for Tournament purposes, including but not limited to promotional purposes, in perpetuity and with no obligation to compensate me for such use.

I acknowledge that these terms and conditions are subject to change by Tournament organizers.
